Functionally, XIST knockdown inhibited cancer cell proliferation and invasion, and induced apoptosis in vitro, and suppressed subcutaneous tumor growth in vivo.Mechanistic investigations revealed a reciprocal repressive interaction between XIST and miR-186-5p. |
