| Function Description | Knockdown of SNHG1 impeded cell growth via disturbing cell cycle distribution and protecting cells from apoptosis. Nevertheless, SNHG1 down-regulation decreased cell invasive ability and reversed epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) phenotype. Mechanismly, it was found that SNHG1 functioned as a competing endogenous RNA to repress miR-140 expression and thereby elevated its down-stream target ADAM10. In summary, SNHG1 promoted GC cell proliferation and invasion via modulating the miR-140/ADAM10 axis. |
