| Function Description | Four noncoding intronic transcripts mapping to intronic regions of protein-coding genes, SND1 (regulation of transcription), ACTN4 (regulation of apoptosis and of progression through cell cycle), HDAC5 (regulation of transcription and of progression through cell cycle) and NIBP (enhancer of NF-kappa-B activation) were selected for real time RT-PCR experiments; down-regulation of intronic RNAs was confirmed for transcripts mapping to introns of SND1 and ACTN4 loci in RCC tumors relative to adjacent nontumor tissues. |
