| Function Description | It was demonstrated that ATB was highly expressed in lung cancer tissues compared with noncancerous tissues, and associated with tumor size and metastasis. Suppression of ATB significantly inhibited the proliferation and migratory rate of lung cancer cells. ATB expression indicates a poor prognosis of patients with lung cancer. It was demonstrated in the present study that the suppression of ATB expression markedly increased E-cadherin and decreased N-cadherin protein expression in both lung cancer cell lines. |
