| Function Description | upregulated HOTTIP is closely associated with unfavorable phenotypes in RCC patients. EZH2 and LSD1 are histone methylation regulators distributed mainly in nucleus. Therefore, the results indicated that HOTTIP might epigenetically suppress underlying targets expression at transcriptional level. Additionally, we observed an increase in apoptosis after knockdown of HOTTIP, suggesting that the proliferative effects of HOTTIP on RCC cells resulted from an alteration of cell apoptosis. |
