| Function Description | Our research reveals a novel relationship between HOTAIR and glucose metabolism in HCC cells, and it may be a therapeutic target for diagnosing and treating HCC. For example, lncRNAs correlate with tumor cell apoptosis, metastasis, drug resistance and autophagy (12). HOTAIR expression levels were significantly positively correlated with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) recurrence and metastasis and with the overall survival time of patients with HCC. |
