Function Description | PRL increased H19 expression, but DHT reduced it. The combination of the two hormones revealed DHT to be a potent inhibitor of the peptidic hormone effect in H19 gene expression. Interestingly, this latter range of in vitro results obtained after hormone treatments of LNCaP cells is in agreement with ISH observations made on the rat prostate epithelial cells. |
