Cancer&Entry Information
Cancer Name | breast cancer |
ICD-0-3 | C50 |
Methods | qRT-PCR, RNase R digestion, Actinomycin D assay, CCK8 assay, 5-Ethynyl-2??deoxyuridine (EdU) assay and apoptosis assay, Colony formation assay, Luciferase reporter assay, Western blot, Mouse xenograft model, In situ hybridization (ISH) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) analysis |
Sample | TNBC tumor tissues, normal mammary epithelial cell lines (MCF-10A,184A1), breast cancer cell lines (HCC38, HCC1806, BT549, MDA-MB-231, MDA-MB-468, MDA-MB-415, MCF-7, T47D, BT474 and Skbr-3) and embryonic kidney 293T cells (HEK 293T cells) |
Expression Pattern | up-regulated |
Function Description | the expression profile of human circRNAs in TNBC tissues and identified circEPSTI1 (hsa_ circRNA_000479) as a significantly upregulated circRNA. Knockdown of circEPSTI1 inhibits TNBC cell proliferation and induces apoptosis. In vitro and in vivo experiments indicated that circEPSTI1 binds to miR-4753 and miR-6809 as a miRNA sponge to regulate BCL11A expression and affect TNBC proliferation and apoptosis. High levels of circEPSTI1 correlate with reduced survival in TNBC patients. |
