Cancer&Entry Information
Cancer Name | hepatocellular carcinoma |
ICD-0-3 | C22.0 |
Methods | qPCR, Western blot, Luciferase reporter assay |
Sample | The human HCC cell lines (HCCLM3, Huh7, Hep3B, and HepG2) and a hepatocyte cell line (L02), HCC tissue and matched normal tissue |
Expression Pattern | up-regulated |
Function Description | CCAT1 levels were higher in tissue and cell lines of HCC. In function research, we found that CCAT1 facilitates HCC cell autophagy and cell proliferation. Our results show that, mechanistically, CCAT1 promotes autophagy through functioning as a sponge for miR-181a-5p, and then regulating ATG7 expression. |
